Spectral Evidence and Modern Prophetic Accusations<\/span><\/h2>\n

History sometimes repeats itself in unexpected ways.<\/span><\/p>\n

One of the most tragic examples in American history occurred during the Salem witch trials of 1692<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

During these trials, some accusations were based on something called spectral evidence<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Spectral evidence meant that a person claimed to see another individual\u2019s spirit, influence, or invisible presence causing harm.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 \u201cI discern a spirit operating in this person.\u201d<\/span>
\u2022 \u201cI saw this in the spirit realm.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

I believe that I had a about this person: the senior pastor, and he (she) was living in sin…”<\/span><\/p>\n

While spiritual discernment is real, accusations based solely on invisible impressions can become extremely dangerous<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Without evidence or relationship, such statements can damage lives and ministries.<\/span><\/p>\n

This begins to resemble the same spectral accusation pattern<\/strong> that history warns about.<\/span><\/p>\n

4. The Difference Between Discernment and Accusation<\/span><\/h1>\n

Biblical discernment is protective.<\/span><\/p>\n

It recognizes influences and warns the church carefully.<\/span><\/p>\n

But discernment operates with:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 accountability<\/span>
\u2022 confirmation<\/span>
\u2022 wisdom<\/span><\/p>\n

Discernment does not function as public speculation about other people\u2019s hidden lives<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Certain leaders claim to identify \u201cwitches,\u201d \u201cJezebels,\u201d or spiritually dangerous individuals<\/strong> inside Christian communities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sometimes these accusations become informal lists of suspected people<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

These lists may circulate privately among ministry networks or publicly through:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 sermons<\/span>
\u2022 conferences<\/span>
\u2022 social media<\/span>
\u2022 online broadcasts<\/span><\/p>\n

Individuals may be labeled as witches or spiritual enemies without relationship, investigation, or evidence<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

This practice raises serious biblical concerns.<\/span><\/p>\n

POINT: The Biblical Use of the Word \u201cWitch\u201d<\/span><\/h1>\n

In the Old Testament the term referred to occult practitioners<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Exodus 22:18 (KJV) (Old Testament, not New, so take this now literally)<\/span><\/h3>\n

\u201cThou shalt not suffer a witch to live.\u201d<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Hebrew word refers to a person practicing sorcery or magical arts<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

This command addressed actual occult activity<\/strong>, not personality conflicts or ministry disagreements.<\/span><\/p>\n

Scripture never instructs believers to begin identifying fellow Christians as witches through suspicion or spiritual impressions.<\/span><\/p>\n

WHO IS AN ACTUAL WITCH?<\/span><\/h5>\n

Due to the heightened, most prophetic, apostolic Book of Acts movements, ministry obsession which breeds fruit of accusation, and “reading, divining, dark scanning certain people” to avoid “trouble being sidetracked with undue baggage, we asses Humanity with Jesus Christ, Apostle Paul, the very first seeking Church, who never did that. That would be viewed as accusative pagan, way back then.<\/span><\/p>\n

TD POINT: Many people are into the occult, but in the Christian sense, we advise another “perspective” to assess, evaluate and to ‘judge” what is witchcraft: In a leader, minister, office, ministry ,program or lay:<\/span>
\nI will define “witchcraft” in calmer Bible awareness terms as their many level, realms, practices in it just like prayer, worship and being anointed by\/with the Holy Spirit.<\/span><\/p>\n

The New Testament Context<\/span><\/h1>\n

The New Testament church encountered real occult practices.<\/span><\/p>\n

Acts 19:19 (KJV)<\/span><\/h3>\n

\u201cMany of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men\u2026\u201d<\/span><\/h2>\n

Those who practiced sorcery repented voluntarily<\/strong> after believing the gospel.<\/span><\/p>\n

Notice what the apostles did not do<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

They did not circulate lists of suspected witches among believers.<\/span><\/p>\n

They preached Christ and allowed repentance to follow.<\/span><\/p>\n

When believers begin labeling other Christians as witches, several dangers arise.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fellowship becomes guarded rather than open.<\/span><\/p>\n

3. Division in the body of Christ<\/span><\/h3>\n

The church becomes divided into categories such as:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 \u201cJezebels\u201d<\/span>
\u2022 \u201cwitches\u201d<\/span>

Scripture acknowledges real spiritual warfare.<\/span><\/p>\n

Notice the emphasis.<\/span><\/p>\n

The struggle is not against people<\/strong>, but against spiritual forces.<\/span><\/p>\n

When believers begin attacking one another as enemies, the focus shifts away from the true battle.<\/span><\/p>\n

Modern ministry culture sometimes promotes a practice that might be called distance discernment<\/strong>.A person claims to know spiritual conditions about individuals whom they have never met or spoken with.This may involve statements such as:\u2022 \u201cI sense something about this person.\u201d<\/span>
\u2022 \u201cI discern a spirit on that leader.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 \u201cGod revealed their hidden motives.\u201dWithout relationship or evidence, such claims can easily become speculation presented as revelation<\/strong>.This begins to resemble the same<\/span><\/p>\n

pattern as divination: seeking hidden knowledge about others without relational context.<\/span><\/p>\n

The First Church Pattern<\/span><\/h1>\n

The early church functioned within shared community life<\/strong>.Believers knew one another personally.Correction and guidance occurred through direct interaction<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n
