I SAMUEL OUTLINE<\/span>\u00a0of the story of Eli and his sons in I Samuel:<\/span><\/p>\n

I. Introduction<\/span><\/p>\n

Eli was a priest<\/strong> and a judge in Israel during the time of the judges<\/span>
\nHe had two sons named Hophni and Phinehas who were also priests (who had earned the regional nickname “the sons of Belial” (sons of the devil) <\/span><\/p>\n

II. The sins of Hophni and Phinehas:<\/span> Eli’s Office Temple Staff, 2 Associate pastors<\/span><\/p>\n

Hophni and Phinehas<\/strong> were corrupt and selfish priests who abused their authority<\/span>
\nThey would take portions of the sacrifices for themselves and sleep with the women who served at the entrance to the tent of meeting<\/span><\/p>\n

Their actions were a direc<\/strong>t violation of God’s laws and showed disrespect for their role as priests<\/span><\/p>\n

III. God’s judgment on Eli’s family<\/span><\/p>\n

God sent a prophet to El<\/strong>i to warn him of the judgment that would come upon his family.]<\/span><\/p>\n

The prophet foretold that bo<\/strong>th of Eli’s sons would die on the same day, and that his family would no longer serve as priests in Israel.<\/span><\/p>\n

IV. The death of Hophni and Phineha<\/span>s<\/span><\/p>\n

The Israelites went to battle<\/strong> against the Philistines, and Hophni and Phinehas brought the ark of the covenant with them as a good luck charm<\/span><\/p>\n

The Israelites were defeated,<\/strong> and the ark was captured by the Philistines<\/span><\/p>\n

Hophni and Phinehas<\/strong> were killed in the battle, just as the prophet had foretold<\/span><\/p>\n

V. The death of Eli<\/span><\/p>\n

When Eli heard the news<\/strong> of the battle and the capture of the ark, he fell backwards and broke his neck, dying instantly<\/span><\/p>\n

With the death of Eli and his so<\/strong>ns, the priesthood in Israel was left without a clear leader, and the ark of the covenant was lost to the Philistines<\/span><\/p>\n

VI. Conclusion<\/span><\/p>\n

The story of Eli and his son<\/strong>s is a cautionary tale about the dangers of abusing authority and disrespecting God’s laws<\/span><\/p>\n

The consequences of their acti<\/strong>ons had far-reaching consequences for themselves and for the entire nation of Israel.<\/span><\/p>\n

LEVITICAL PATRIACH “ME TOO” OLD TESTAMENT TYPE CLEANSE?<\/span><\/p>\n

SUBMITTING as Food for Thought<\/strong>: Was this top ministry office a type of “Misogynist Old Testament Form of a Me Too (“use of God’s judgment term the Ichabod”)<\/span><\/p>\n

The actions of Hophni and Phinehas in I Samuel 2-4<\/strong>, where they “lay with the women who served at the entrance to the tent of meeting” can be seen as a form of sexual abuse and harassment. This behavior is a serious issue and has been a concern for women throughout history.<\/span><\/p>\n

The #MeToo<\/span> movement,<\/strong> which gained prominence in recent years, is a movement that seeks to raise awareness about and address issues of sexual harassment and assault, particularly in the workplace. The movement has highlighted the prevalence of such abuse and the need for better protection for those who experience it.<\/span><\/p>\n

While the story of Eli and his sons<\/strong> predates the modern-day #MeToo<\/span><\/strong> movement, it is an example of the ways in which abuse of power can lead to mistreatment and exploitation of vulnerable people, including women. The story highlights the importance of holding those in positions of authority accountable for their actions and working to prevent such abuses from happening in the first place. <\/span><\/p>\n

There is no more today.<\/strong> Keeping it simple, straightforward, and in the Bible, REASONS I have repeatedly wanted to address ELI and both his staff well born son, since 2020’s in ministry DFW Texas. I want to edit and repost each of these but not here. <\/span><\/p>\n

REASONS: We ‘researching’ early Bible,<\/strong>\u00a0for signs, hints of any foundations of modern Day “Christian” ministry misogyny, bias and “using \/abusing” or defiling of any attending Christians, and in this case we focus on God’s FEMALES<\/span><\/p>\n

Reasons ..for GOD’S MOV<\/strong>E which must respect and value and be pure toward EVERYONE females, males, visitors, single women and all races, genders, and STYLES ..meaning even NON CHRISTIANS<\/span><\/p>\n

SOLE HOPEFUL TRUE PURPOSES<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

MAKING THIS POINT:<\/strong> This may be God’s last move..so we need to make sure each and every size, age, gender,look, style, vibe, energy and color of ANY TYPE of human person is RESPECTED and MINISTRY VALUED. <\/span><\/p>\n

MEANING “there will” NO MORE ‘Boys will be Boys<\/strong> ” Christian leader, minister DOUBLE STANDARD ..for God’s MEN or WOMEN, GIRLS plus any Future Leader Men, Boys, YOUTH<\/span><\/p>\n
