And I kept getting that as as recurring thought. And I wondered about it. I dawned on me that this actually a RIGHT TOPIC nearly world wide.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong>And It came to me that due to USA le<\/strong>gality, morality and lack of deep solid core Christian teaching, Bible based with NO HOLY FEAR OF LORD these days, I felt is being given to me as a &#8220;word from the Lord&#8221; (got this for quite a while starting Jan 2022 on),<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong>I frankly pondered:<\/strong> What if the even some of the &#8220;Big Ones&#8221; the mighty ones who pray for us, prophesy, are the apostles, prophets over a move do this and I am there ALLOWING THEM to <strong>&#8220;lead me&#8221;<\/strong> &#8220;<strong>minister to me&#8221; &#8220;to pray for me &#8220;<\/strong> <strong>&#8220;to impart and lay hands on me conceivably&#8221;<\/strong> and to &#8220;have last say, <strong>spiritual\u00a0 authority over me<\/strong>&#8221; if, when, as t<strong>hey are OFF.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong>And would I feel\u00a0 led to &#8220;support them&#8221;<\/strong> if I felt they are living &#8220;less than&#8221; the tradition Jesus Christ hero role model?<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 19px;\"><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6455\" src=\"http:\/\/ministryaiandi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Screen-Shot-2025-05-20-at-4.32.51-PM-1024x514.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"444\" height=\"223\" \/><em>Dr T says,<br \/>\n<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 19px;\"><em><span style=\"font-family: Roboto;\"><strong>&#8220;How YOU and I\u00a0<\/strong> each<strong> agree<\/strong> and<strong> DISAGREE<\/strong>, displays not just our own individual &#8220;doctrines&#8217; but also our &#8220;character&#8221; and how conformed it is to the &#8220;<strong>Word made Flesh&#8221; the Messiah Christ,<\/strong> who is revealed in t<\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family: Roboto;\">he says of the Holy Bible. All must hear the Lord about it for themself.<\/span><\/h1>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\" data-start=\"184\" data-end=\"251\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><span style=\"font-family: Roboto;\">Also, This is not about &#8220;medical marijuana&#8221; (unless you&#8217;re rationalizing to &#8220;get&#8221; to use it<\/span>)<\/span><\/h1>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: left;\" data-start=\"184\" data-end=\"251\"><span style=\"font-size: 23px; font-family: Roboto;\"><strong data-start=\"186\" data-end=\"251\">Part 1: Christian Leaders &amp; Marijuana: Discernment Without Accusation<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\" data-start=\"255\" data-end=\"361\"><span style=\"font-family: Roboto;\"><strong><em data-start=\"255\" data-end=\"332\">\u201c<span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Test everything; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil.\u201d<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/span><br data-start=\"332\" data-end=\"335\" \/><span style=\"font-family: Roboto;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">\u20141 Thessalonians 5:21\u201322<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"363\" data-end=\"678\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong>In today\u2019s world, marijuana u<\/strong>se is legal in many regions. Some Christian leaders\u2014pastors, prophets, and stage ministers\u2014have quietly adopted its recreational use. This post isn\u2019t here to <strong data-start=\"550\" data-end=\"560\">accuse<\/strong>, but to help <strong data-start=\"574\" data-end=\"586\">evaluate<\/strong>. It\u2019s not about condemnation; it\u2019s about clarity, trust, and protecting the Body of Christ.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"685\" data-end=\"722\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; font-family: Roboto;\"><strong data-start=\"688\" data-end=\"722\">1. Accusing NO, Evaluating YES<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"724\" data-end=\"947\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Jesus didn\u2019t come to condemn the world (John 3:17), and neither should we. But He did teach us to <strong data-start=\"822\" data-end=\"852\">know people (and this includes office sr top ministers, their staff, elders, lay)\u00a0 by their fruit<\/strong> (Matthew 7:15\u201320). In other words, spiritual evaluation isn\u2019t judgmental\u2014<strong data-start=\"926\" data-end=\"946\">it\u2019s responsible<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"949\" data-end=\"1118\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Especially when it comes to those we entrust with our spiritual care\u2014those who lay hands on us, give us prophetic words, or preach the Word\u2014we need to <strong data-start=\"1100\" data-end=\"1117\">ask questions<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1119\" data-end=\"1279\">\n<li data-start=\"1119\" data-end=\"1168\">\n<p data-start=\"1121\" data-end=\"1168\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Does this person walk in holy fear of the Lord?<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1169\" data-end=\"1215\">\n<p data-start=\"1171\" data-end=\"1215\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Are they sober-minded and spiritually clear?<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1216\" data-end=\"1279\">\n<p data-start=\"1218\" data-end=\"1279\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Is their lifestyle consistent with the New Testament pattern?<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1281\" data-end=\"1353\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">We\u2019re called to <strong data-start=\"1297\" data-end=\"1316\">discern spirits<\/strong> (1 John 4:1), not to blindly follow.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1360\" data-end=\"1397\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; font-family: Roboto;\"><strong data-start=\"1363\" data-end=\"1397\">2. Is Smoking Marijuana\u00a0 Like Drinking Wine?<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1399\" data-end=\"1476\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">This is a common question: <em data-start=\"1426\" data-end=\"1476\">Is marijuana any different than a glass of wine?<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1478\" data-end=\"1501\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Here\u2019s the distinction:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1502\" data-end=\"1672\">\n<li data-start=\"1502\" data-end=\"1584\">\n<p data-start=\"1504\" data-end=\"1584\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">In <strong data-start=\"1507\" data-end=\"1525\">1 Timothy 5:23<\/strong>, Paul tells Timothy to drink a little wine for his health.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1585\" data-end=\"1672\">\n<p data-start=\"1587\" data-end=\"1672\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong data-start=\"1587\" data-end=\"1605\">Ephesians 5:18<\/strong> warns: \u201cDo not be drunk with wine\u2026 but be filled with the Spirit.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1674\" data-end=\"1788\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Wine, in moderation, was culturally normal in the Bible. But drunkenness\u2014and any impairment\u2014was clearly forbidden.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1790\" data-end=\"1813\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong>Now consider marijuana<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1814\" data-end=\"2048\">\n<li data-start=\"1814\" data-end=\"1875\">\n<p data-start=\"1816\" data-end=\"1875\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">It doesn\u2019t take much to alter mood, thinking, or awareness.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1876\" data-end=\"2048\">\n<p data-start=\"1878\" data-end=\"2048\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong data-start=\"1878\" data-end=\"1885\">THC<\/strong> (tetrahydrocannabinol), the psychoactive ingredient, <strong data-start=\"1939\" data-end=\"1984\">affects perception, judgment, and clarity<\/strong>\u2014which are essential for any minister speaking on behalf of God.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2050\" data-end=\"2167\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">A pastor, prophet, or teacher must be <strong data-start=\"2088\" data-end=\"2123\">clear, discerning, and accurate<\/strong> in the Spirit. THC can interfere with that.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"2174\" data-end=\"2228\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; font-family: Roboto;\"><strong data-start=\"2177\" data-end=\"2228\">3. Choices: Freedom in Christ vs. Rationalizing Behavior<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2230\" data-end=\"2324\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Yes, we are free in Christ. But Christian liberty isn\u2019t a license for indulgence. Paul writes:<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2328\" data-end=\"2417\"><span style=\"font-family: Roboto;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><em data-start=\"2328\" data-end=\"2393\">\u201cAll things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/span><br data-start=\"2393\" data-end=\"2396\" \/><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">\u20141 Corinthians 6:12<\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2419\" data-end=\"2443\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Freedom in Christ means:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2444\" data-end=\"2586\">\n<li data-start=\"2444\" data-end=\"2487\">\n<p data-start=\"2446\" data-end=\"2487\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong>Walking in the Spirit<\/strong> (Galatians 5:1, 16)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2488\" data-end=\"2526\">\n<p data-start=\"2490\" data-end=\"2526\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Avoiding legalism <strong data-start=\"2508\" data-end=\"2515\">and<\/strong> compromise<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2527\" data-end=\"2586\">\n<p data-start=\"2529\" data-end=\"2586\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Living in ways <strong>that edify the body<\/strong> and bring glory to God<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2588\" data-end=\"2793\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Some say, \u201cIt\u2019s legal now, so why not?\u201d <strong>But legality doesn\u2019t mean moralit<\/strong>y. <strong data-start=\"2664\" data-end=\"2679\">We must ask<\/strong>: Is this being used to escape stress, or is it replacing prayer, casting cares on the Lord, or seeking His peace?<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"2800\" data-end=\"2845\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; font-family: Roboto;\"><strong data-start=\"2803\" data-end=\"2845\">4. What About\u00a0 A Minister Smoking Marijuana the basic Office Principles of the First Church? (And Book of Acts)<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2847\" data-end=\"2881\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Let\u2019s go back to the Book of Acts:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2882\" data-end=\"3078\">\n<li data-start=\"2882\" data-end=\"2935\">\n<p data-start=\"2884\" data-end=\"2935\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Believers were <strong data-start=\"2899\" data-end=\"2915\">sober-minded<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"2920\" data-end=\"2934\">Spirit-led<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2936\" data-end=\"2998\">\n<p data-start=\"2938\" data-end=\"2998\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">They <strong data-start=\"2943\" data-end=\"2961\">fasted, prayed<\/strong>, and feared the Lord (Acts 2:42\u201347).<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2999\" data-end=\"3078\">\n<p data-start=\"3001\" data-end=\"3078\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">There was no mention of external substances to \u201cenhance\u201d worship or prophecy.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-start=\"3080\" data-end=\"3200\"><span style=\"font-size: 21px; font-family: Roboto;\"><strong>***Mega Key Point<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"3080\" data-end=\"3200\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px; font-family: Roboto;\"><strong>Their<em> minds were not altered\u2014but renewed <\/em><\/strong>(Romans 12:2). Their power, peace, comfort and big confidence was in God\u2019s presence, not in any chemical**<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>Yet, who teaches this presently? .<\/em><\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"3207\" data-end=\"3247\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; font-family: Roboto;\"><strong data-start=\"3210\" data-end=\"3247\">5. Why Does This Matters for Laypeople (when they attend a fellowship, church)<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"3249\" data-end=\"3452\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">When you sit under someone\u2019s ministry, you are spiritually vulnerable. You open your heart to receive counsel, teaching, and impartation. That trust deserves transparency, holiness, and sobriety.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3454\" data-end=\"3467\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong>Ask yours<\/strong>elf:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"3468\" data-end=\"3643\">\n<li data-start=\"3468\" data-end=\"3508\">\n<p data-start=\"3470\" data-end=\"3508\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Can I trust this person\u2019s discernment?<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3509\" data-end=\"3581\">\n<p data-start=\"3511\" data-end=\"3581\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Is this leader clearly led by the Holy Spirit\u2014or dulled by substances?<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3582\" data-end=\"3643\">\n<p data-start=\"3584\" data-end=\"3643\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Is there any deception, mixture, or unaddressed compromise?<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"3645\" data-end=\"3737\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong>This isn\u2019t about being religious\u2014<\/strong>it\u2019s about <strong>being discerning<\/strong> in an age of great mixture.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3645\" data-end=\"3737\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong>TD thinks about:<\/strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><em> A stoned person ministering\u00a0 to YOU &#8230;by\u00a0 laying on hands, casting out devils, given YOU a timely prophetic word ?\u00a0 leading the youth, children? (All of which involves &#8220;transference?)<\/em><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"3744\" data-end=\"3788\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; font-family: Roboto;\"><strong data-start=\"3747\" data-end=\"3788\">Final Thought: Holiness Still Matters<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"3790\" data-end=\"3987\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">God is merciful, and we are not called to nitpick or shame others. But holiness hasn\u2019t gone out of style.
