PART 4 PRIDE SERIES: JOB 41 LEVIATHAN SNEAKY SNAKE OF SUPERIOR (HIDING) PRIDE concludes

COMMENTARY ON JOB 41:11- 34
The writer submits that JOB 41:11-13 is GOD humbling JOB by showing him his own powerlessness to stand before this Leviathan.
JOB 41 VERSES 11-13
VERSE 11-13 “Who hath prevented me, that I should repay him?
whatsoever is under the whole heaven is mine. I will not conceal
his parts, nor his power, nor his comely proportion. Who can
discover the face of his garment? or who can come to him with
his double bridle?”
POINT: No one, not even righteous person like Job, can glory by mistake, and believe that even good works, achievement, possessions, like houses, lands and families will ever imbue them with the supernatural God Kind of Power which can overcome, withstand and put a stop to the LEVIATHAN, the age old SPIRIT OF SNAKEY SUPERIOR PRIDE.
“The double bridle” denotes an extra powerful living creature,which keeps struggling and raring, champing at the bit to be let loose.
It also pictures an ENTITY which resists all restraint in a surging, rebellious, even aggressive fashion.
The owner would therefore have an extremely difficult time keeping it submitted.
VERSE 14 Who can open the doors of his face? his teeth are terrible round about.
Whenever one is in a face to face confrontation with a human begin which is coated, saturated in arrogant, boastful, dull, spiritually imperceptive leadership PRIDE, the spiritual fruit discerned will NOT RESEMBLE that of James 3:17
“The wisdom of God is pure, peaceable, EASILY ENTREATED, full of mercy and good fruit, without partiality, without hypocrisy”
AND NEITHER will it interact, nor hero role model Body Unity as represented in Ephesians 4, but mainly Ephesian 5:21, by interacting RELATIONALLY in “mutual submission in the fear of the Lord.”
IN FACT, neither Apostle DFW LEADER, DR TCL Litmus Test Discernment Training Verses will be that person, even peer leader, hero modeled.
For the PROUD PERSON will not usually respond nor be able to willingly SUBMIT in a spiritually perceptive, humble, polite and emotionally completely honest, mutually respectful back and forth dialogue…for they will not have the ability to self control, self govern their own PASSION and LIPS, or else they may turn sullen and avoidant, putting distant between in an effort to WIN by maintaining an upper hand of control, sometimes using the silent/shunning wearing down treatment….
….ALL of the above is rooted in the spirit of pride manifesting it’s unyielding FRUIT.
AND if a bitter, unforgiving, deeply prone to outbursts, big anger and rage turns angry, then the LEVIATHAN UNCONTROLLED SPIRIT will tend to boil over, manifesting in your face, up close shouting, demeaning accusation, abusive swearing and “fits of rage.”
When the spirit of pride is coupled with dark deep rage and attacking big anger, cursing, even turning physical…then call all attempt to negotiate and practice sound reasoning off…FLEE for your or your children’s own protection as the Bible commands,
BIBLE VERSE: Proverbs 22:44″Have nothing to do with an angry (hu)man.”
VERSE 15 “His scales are his pride, shut up together as with a close seal.
“This is a an overall description of the ducking, avoiding, legalistic low level, spirit of PRIDE.
It’s (shiny, attractive) tightly compacted self protective scales, are very tough to penetrate. They help him avoid the pursuant people and the things that he doesn’t truly like..by exerting slippery, self protective, hardened ducking CONTROL.
The Leviathan’s seals, similar to a water repellent, a sign of quite effective IMMUNITY. Yet, as any scales on a fish or a snake, they may appear to be just for purposes of decoration, forming covering and may even look very attractive.
Yet, on closer study, we note that the SCALES always serve to help any fish, reptile slither away from being caught.
Thus this Sneaky Old Leviathan skillful demonic snake, uses his own attractive covering for much deeper, darker selfish purposes. His many different scales form a self protective, hardened impenetrable barrier which, again,helps him maneuver adeptly, skillfully to AVOID being caught and/or up front CONFRONTED.
Also, as the Artful Serpentine Quick Dodger, uses his tightly packed knife like SCALES to distract, to avoid being identified, even caught, and they help him avoid taking ANY responsibility for the big troubles which he causes,(for example deception, accusation, sin consciousness, dishonesty, and MANY life type things which wind up causing suffering, pain, heart ache, and strife and division, in families, ministries and world wide, all around us.
VERSE 16 One is so near to another, that no air can come between them.
“This is how hard it is to penetrate(uncover, to clearly discern and to put a firm finger on WHAT is OPERATING in a given situation.”
They are so tough, hardened that they are ‘water tight” and naturally impenetrable.
AN ASIDE: A POTENTIAL MINISTRY SYMBOL: AND in Holy Spirit river of Life analogy: this may be regarded as a symbol of “mental hardness” “male, female, leader “arrogant all knowing, all wise superior PRIDE’ which will DEFLECT the any new nonlegalistic MIGHTY MOVE of God’s Holy Spirit akin to a river…
VERSE 17 They are joined one to another, they stick together, that they cannot be sundered.
“Again, the tightly wound, hardened snakey Leviathan scales, are bound to tight together, nothing can come in between them.
I call the human spirit of pride the BIG CONTROLLING KAHUNA of demonic unholy tormenting spirits…. (underlying, promoting, empowering, twisting to promote them, then ducking /avoiding so they will not be clearly ROOT IDENTIFIED (meaning clearly DISCERNED and PERCEIVED)
VERSE 18 By his neesings a light doth shine, and his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning.
“Neesings” are translated as possibly it’s SNEEZES or SNORTS which, in a water animal will create water drops which shine in the sunlight, and often glistening, with beautiful hues of many sparkling, bright fancy appearing enjoyable colors.
And in the early morning ocean peace, he appears relaxed and very calm…until he rears up with a sharp snort, thus announcing his evil presence…yet to the natural wide awake human eye…this Serpent looks like just another one of Natures “organic” moving creatures
VERSE 19 Out of his mouth go burning lamps, and sparks of fire leap out.
If taken one natural way, we note the same early morning light reflecting, as it mingles with water. Yet,this is not a “natural” animal..it is a dark demonic supernatural controlling, attacking, undermining one….
The V. 19 “burning lamps” and “sparks of fire” denote a burning, fiery furnace, similar to the PIT of hell…but also denotes fury, demonic evil destructive power… WHICH, observing history, in the light of what the Bible names as The ETERNAL FIGHT between Goodness and Evil….
Therefore, each of us as God’s leaders, must take note of how this demon snake of pride historically operates….and that this is NOT about “human games playing” BUT that it is (even) deadly serious. We must each acknowledge that it has always been perceiving us…but that it is also continually each of our CHIEF OPPONENT, MINISTRY, REAL LIFE ADVERSARY…which is on the move forward.
AND OF COURSE, we truly understand, as good New Testament Bible scholars, that CHRIST paid the price, with his death, burial and marvelous VICTORIOUS RESURRECTION..and that the VICTORY has already been WON…
YET, each and every day in and out…we will have to study, to know each of our spiritual position in CHRIST and know how to “not be moved” by anything we hear, see or feel…but INSTEAD we must move forward…walking toward each GIANT….while asking God for detailed, clear wise instructions.
It will require that we choose to renew our own mind as well as PRIORITIZE taking leader quality intro /self inspection
In that fashion, each of us can also STOP and also HINDER, Ministry EQUP ON and thus QUENCH the total Body effect on this languishing spirit of Leviathan pride…
VERSE 20 Out of his nostrils goeth smoke, as out of a seething pot or caldron.
“This awesome, even terrible describe, sounds like an old timey steam locomotive gone over WILD…I can just imagine it barreling down the tracks, looking for a target..with no holds ever barred and full of its OWN HOT AIR with all systems BOILING OVER”
VERSE 21 His breath kindleth coals, and a flame goeth out of his mouth.
In my own opinion, and in keeping with the previous FULL STEAM AHEAD fully throttled locomotive analogy, this verse points to FIRE IN IT’S BELLY (furnace) to ACHIEVE, to MASTER, to BE IN COMPLETE POWER , CONTROL and TOTAL DOMINION OVER..
“The flame goes out of his mouth” …a spiritual flame thrower..but what’s inside the MOUTH? A PROUD TONGUE…potentially spewing forth wickedness, big hurt, lies, gossip, ministry accusation, vile all forms of mean spirited, cold hearted, cruel satanic ATTACK, ABUSE.
NOTE: this is what WARS, HUMAN MISERY, SPIRIT OF DEATH and FAMINE are created into being BY…
Just to name a FEW..due to need for winding up this last article.
VERSE 22 In his neck remaineth strength, and sorrow is turned into joy before him.
To me, this implies that the Spirit of Pride manifests in a person being “stiff necked’ (stubborn,SELF idolizing,) meaning spiritually DULL, DENSE, hardened…which also would imply arrogant,rude, potentially so grossly proud, that he has to be viewed as OVER everyone else, and IN FULL CONTROL/CHARGE…yet if his will is not obeyed, he may become hostile, accusing, spiritually/emotionally/physically attacking…and eventually turn bullying, dominating and even eventually VENGEFUL and MURDEROUS.
VERSE 23 The flakes of his flesh are joined together: they are firm in themselves; they cannot be moved.
Down past the densely packed scales of the sneak Snake of Pride…even his FLESH is demonized so that it is also firm, impenetrable as well “It cannot be moved” ..due to stone will, hardened religious/proud thinking, this spills over to manifest in an rude embodiment of a clever, single eyed, skilled leader, who turns brutish, resistant and ever so cunning and mentally, spiritually, and emotionally TOUGH…so that no more mercy exists within.
This is the same kind of LETHAL SUPERIOR ARROGANT DULL PRIDE which accuses little tiny children,the helpless,the innocent… and abuses, even sexually exploits, selfishly uses, even maims and murders.
ALL coming from a spiritually dull, out of control, hardened PROUD no longer tender hurtful impure heart.
VERSE 24 His heart is as firm as a stone; yea, as hard as a piece of the nether millstone.
This is similar to the last 3 verse. Reminder, what does the Bible teach us about all who hurt the innocent babies and little children:
Matthew 18:6, “If anyone causes these little ones who trust in me to stumble, it will be better for him(her) to have a millstone tied around their neck and drowned in the depths of the sea.”
VERSE 25 When he raiseth up himself, the mighty are afraid: by reason of breakings they purify themselves.
At opportune times the Leviathan spirit of pride is so puffed up, so arrogant but so self exalted and important, that is uses it’s spiritual fierce PERSONA, CHARISMA, BRAVADO or imbued spiritual/natural /governmental/parental /civil AUTHORITY to put others into a state of submissive FEAR or TERROR, which is a POWER PLAY to gain or wield governmental control…
…. Rather than using RATIONAL RESPECTFUL UP FRONT REASON, it turns abusive, overly emotional and DISRESPECTFUL due in part to it’s own fear of possibly LOOSING spiritual, natural/parental, civil POWER and CONTROL.
NOTE: this is AUTHORITARIAN LEADERSHIP as compared to PERSUASIVE LEADERSHIP style)(DFW LEADER MINISTRY FELLOWSHIP, APOSTLE OVER PERCEIVER SEER…OF THE ONLINE HOUSE TAVEAU D’ARCY is the latter)
VERSE 26 The sword of him that layeth at him cannot hold: the spear, the dart, nor the habergeon.
This paints a picture of a woodsman attempting to chop up an enormous tree trunk, to make a wood pile, while using a pocket knife…
It simply won’t penetrate to have any lasting affect..meaning that all of the natural human weapons in his arsenal are NOT strong enough to make even a dent in this world wide evil controlling spirit.
VERSE 27 He esteemeth iron as straw, and brass as rotten wood.
“Superior Pride at it’s highest manifested level (when it’s combined with an ungodly mixture of flesh mixed with anger, accusation,pride,control,etc) can be so full of demonic energy and completely blinded with his own superior Leviathan kind of pride, that now, the Proud Person, only DISCERNS and PERCEIVES based on, biased by HIS OWN PERSONAL SPIRITUAL NATURE…
.…and sees others through this HIS/HER OPINION of demeaning accusation and the negative spiritual fruit of death.
And lest we magnify our Enemy by elaborating overly much, each person in accepting CHRIST can “be of good CHEER” as HE has come with imbued Holy Spirit LIFE which outflanks accusation and DEATH…with supernatural ALIVE “Holy Ghost” true power!
BIBLE SCRIPTURE: “Matthew 16:19 “I give you the keys of the kingdom, whatsoever you bind on earth is bound in heaven, and whatsoever you loose on earth is loosed in heaven.”
VERSE 28 The arrow cannot make him flee: slingstones areturned with him into stubble.
Even the sharp shooters, will prove over all inadequate. And if they persist, with all their mighty intentions, the wrestling, avoiding, deceptive dodging Eternal Spirit of Pride, will eventually wear them down.
AND ONLY FAITH AND POWER IN JESUS NAME, “which is above all names” will a allow all of us to freely receive God’s Living amazing deposit of the HOLY SPIRIT, which keeps us, guards us, assists us in discernment and in making decisions. All of this will live inside our own heart,thus offering aide to us for combatting, avoiding, resisting the LEVIATHAN: and it’s unrighteous big power.
VERSE 29 Darts are counted as stubble: he laugheth at the shaking of a spear.
The emotionally insensitive, probably empathy free, callous, and terrible stoney hearted Artful Dodger once again, makes almighty human weaponry, strategy completely null and void.
Equally regarded by him, are human words, mandates or bold threats. (the Holy Spirit and the Word of God are the only effective counters)
“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
VERSE 30 Sharp stones are under him: he spreadeth sharppointed things upon the mire.
“sharp stones are under him.” Rocks MAIM: so this reminds me of one superior, proud, accusing person hurling pointed, sharp,divisive, attacking, religious rocks of accusation, division, or legalism,(emanating from the human MOUTH….)
IN SHARP CONTRAST: Revelations 12:11 reminds us “They (the Church) overcame HIM (the adversary, ACCUSER) by the blood of the Lamb, the words of their testimony and they loved not their lives unto death.” (more about just that another blog time)
“He spreads sharp pointed things in the mire”
He releases suspicious ground level sneaky snake droppings of rumors, tales, gossip but covers his proud Leviathan tracks with his cleaver, deceitful double speak, avoiding, pretending, posturing and false maneuvering.
VERSE 31 He maketh the deep to boil like a pot: he maketh the sea like a pot of ointment.
“The immense power of the serpent as it slithers and swims through the waves, makes it appear that the water is boiling, due to all of the bubbles, waves and spray. He glides so swiftly and smoothly in and out, from very deep to shallow, laughing as if he has no other cares in the world, remind the writer of a sharp knife, cutting through butter OR instead of saying that “he makes the sea like a pot of ointment’
YET, she also can see a picture which might be titled” He’s thinks that he’s got the entire world as his oyster.” Meaning, he seems to have NO trouble ..but causes everybody ELSE enormous HURT, ACCUSATION AND TROUBLE…and SEEMS to get away with it…
(BUT…we who have already read the last of the Bible already understand, his time is SHORT and rapidly coming to a final END…and the It is Written declares “WE ALREADY WIN!”
VERSE 32 He maketh a path to shine after him; one would think the deep to be hoary.
“Some might call it the Spirit of Prides “wake” or mark or even similar to a royal robes TRAIN, or even what many in these post Christian modern terms AN AURA…
…ALL of which would serve to get him noticed, attention as well as to intentionally attract others to him, and give him favor.
This would create a good popular opinion surrounding his “persona” which then would cause potential masses of people to follow after him and to also want to emulate him..
Some might refer to this ‘shining path” as akin to an AURA* (*as that New Age Word (aura) may need explaining…..Meaning ..likened to a FALSE, COUNTERFEIT Holy Spirit anointing) which shines out from him….
However, discerning an AURA on somebody is STILL not like having GOD’S FAVOR and HIS ISAIAH 10:27 “Yoke breaking anointing” of God’s Holy Spirit/”
VERSE 33 Upon earth there is not his like, who is made without fear.
He’s big, bold and fearless….but totally dull of discerning and stupid..as he has no clue HIS TIME IS VERY SHORT..
AND haven’t you ever noticed that proud full of themselves, thick and imperceptive, accusing, bullying Me Centered persons are totally BLINDED to the fact that they are vulnerable…and this Leviathan is no exception…and although he is absolutely FEARLESS…it is because he is so absolutely perceptively CLUELESS, massively DENSE and majorly spiritually ETERNALLY DEAD.
VERSE 34 He beholdeth all high things: he is a king over all the children of pride.”
Key insight: He’s only looking for his next promotion. He only regards things that are HIGH, EXALTED, RICH AND WILL BRING PERSONAL FAME, HONOR, HIS OWN GLORY.
He’s ENTITLED and prefers only to be seated among the A Listers, the Alphas but never DEIGNS to DINE with the have nots, the lower classes and the “least of these.”(as he has to look down and they can’t help him rise up to the Next Perceived Achievement Level”
“HE IS KING over the children of (snakey) pride”
Sneaky Leviathan snake is High Gimlet to the many immature self worshipping wannabes, who fall over themselves as they curry his big favor.
On their way to what they perceive to be BIG TIME…they bow down to anyone who will help raise their own ministry, business, finances to the “NEXT HIGHEST LEVEL.”
Such is the case of the Fallen Human Heart. AND there, except for the grace of God, could we all proceed to go.
So let each of us make it a point to…
“Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time;”I Peter 5:6
CONCLUSION…. YOU let the Holy Lord work on YOUR LPV ….and I’ll continue to the allow the Good Lord (always!) to be working on me about MINE!
